AKA and Khuli Chana Seal Macufe Weekend!!

Bloemfontein - AKA and Khuli Chana’s last night performance at Cappello sealed what one could call a remarkable MACUFE weekend. The crowd danced to tunes of these

outstanding performers until early hours of Monday morning. Hip Hop maestro Sphectacula and the Deep House master DJ Claude alongside local talent Shaxe also tantalized the masses with killer tunes. There is no doubt that some had questions to answer this morning to their bosses. While MACUFE is best known

for its Jazz Festival at Loch Logan Rose Garden, we believe that Mahungra Car Wash stole the shine for the weekend. Scores of people flocked to Mahungra since Friday until

The sensational God fearing man who is originally from Durban has done South Africa proud by being the first black male to win SA IDOLS. Khaya Mthetwa who is formally known as a member of the Joyous Celebration gospel group wowed SA week after week. Having made Unathi Msengana, who happens to be one of the judges cry and sing along with him in his Durban audition.

She told Khaya in theatre week that this was his competition to lose it’s, no surprise that he took the crown. All his celebrity supporters to name a few Minnie Dlamini, Kuli Roberts, Sizwe Dlomo and many more closed down Cubana by only allowing people to go in if they vote Khaya so then Sundays became a voting spree at the famous club.

The competition was not an easy one at all, we saw him compete against very strong singers being the final 2 with Melissa Allison, very talented young lady from the Eastern Cape. The idol of course has had bad weeks were his performances were not as good as fans know him to be. But his fans stayed behind him to the very end. He is said to have more twitter followers and face book likes than any other SA idol. This could be because the 25 year old is known to be very humble and is has stayed true to his followers and fans; hence South Africa is singing his praises and rejoicing with him this very moment.

We are patiently waiting for the official vote split which is said to be released on Friday by M-Net. He has expressed his unexplainable gratitude to all his supporters, the likes of djSbu being one of those many people who were behind the Idol.
